Privacy Policy
This page describes how we handle your data. We only collect data that is necessary for the site to function. We do not sell your data, use it for commercial purposes, or share it with third parties for marketing.
Data controller
The data controller responsible for the processing described below is the site owner. You can contact us for any request relating to your personal data via our contact form.
Hosting and location of data
This website is hosted by a professional hosting provider. Connection and access logs generated when you visit the site are stored on our host's servers in the European Union. We do not transfer your personal data outside the European Economic Area for the operation of this website.
Data we collect and why
When you browse this website:
- Fonts — We use Google Fonts to display typography. When your browser loads fonts from Google's servers, Google may receive your IP address. You can find Google's privacy policy at policies.google.com/privacy.
- Connection/access logs — Our hosting provider may record data such as IP address, date and time of access, pages viewed, and browser type. This is necessary for the operation and security of the site.
- The site may use local storage (e.g. for language preference) and cookies only when technically necessary. We use first-party, cookie-free audience measurement to count visits, page views, referrers and approximate active sessions. The IP address is used transiently to create an anonymous hash and is not stored raw. No third-party analytics script is loaded.
- Turnstile — On registration, login, forum posts and replies, and certain public forms (e.g. page reports), we may use Cloudflare Turnstile to reduce abuse. Cloudflare may process data in accordance with their privacy policy (cloudflare.com/privacypolicy).
Third-party services and external content
Our site may integrate third-party services such as fonts, embedded media, scheduling widgets, social media integrations and payment processors. These services may collect data according to their own privacy policies. We do not control these third-party services. Please review their respective privacy policies for more information.
Legal basis and retention
We process the data described above on the following bases: legal obligation (where we must retain certain data to comply with the law), contract (operation of the site, admin interface, user account), legitimate interest (operation and security of the website). We keep your data only for as long as necessary for these purposes or as required by law.
Children's data
Our services are not directed at children under 16. If you are under 16, please do not provide us with personal data. If we learn that we have collected personal data from a child under 16, we will delete it promptly.
Your rights (GDPR)
You have the following rights: access to your data, rectification, erasure in the cases provided by law, restriction of processing, objection, data portability where processing is based on consent or contract, and withdrawal of consent. You can export your data directly from your account settings. To exercise other rights, contact us via our contact form; we will respond within one month. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority in your country.
Security
Given the limited data we process, we rely on our hosting provider for technical security. We do not store personal data on our own systems beyond what is strictly necessary. Temporary rate-limiting data (IP-based) is stored to prevent abuse and is deleted automatically. Administrative actions are logged for security purposes.
Cookies and similar technologies
The site uses cookies and local storage when necessary for operation:
- Strictly necessary — Session cookie to keep you logged in when you have an account, and local storage (e.g. language preference). Without these, some features would not work.
- Analytics — We use first-party, cookie-free traffic measurement. It does not set cookies, does not use browser storage to identify visitors, and does not store raw IP addresses.
You can set your browser to refuse non-essential cookies or to delete them. Some features may then be unavailable.
Changes to this policy
We may update this privacy policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page will be revised when we make changes. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
